Virginia Lengyel, LMSW
(she/her/hers)
Clinical Therapist
Virginia Lengyel earned her Master's in Social Work at Nazareth University, after going back to school for Psychology. She currently works with clients using trauma-focused, evidence-based practices, while integrating techniques from Creative Art Therapy and bringing the mind-body connection into focus.  Â
Virginia believes in fostering connection and integrating wisdom from many disciplines while honoring the uniqueness of a client’s own experience. In 2023, she completed an intensive yoga teacher training program to enhance her understanding of somatic processes and wellness. Virginia provides therapeutic collaboration using these modalities, plus others like IFS (Internal Family Systems), ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy), Schema Work, Polyvagal Theory and more, through a trauma-focused lens to explore the self and inspire confidence with her clients.Â
Virginia understands how important it is to find a landing space where people are seen and uplifted in therapy. She is passionate about uncovering and exploring clients’ strengths, so that they can use them to their advantage in their healing from trauma and in everyday life. Virginia has worked with people from all walks of life and backgrounds across many occupations, making a point to immerse herself in learning about people and our world. She has developed a deep appreciation for the human experience and how we can move through challenges with resilience.
In her personal life, Virginia's interests of astrology and self-discovery have been fundamental to her thinking and creative problem solving. She enjoys bringing these into the therapy space.Â
In her free time, she also enjoys spending time in her community and with her son.Â
