New Clients
Welcome! Follow our 5-step process below to get started with your therapy journey.
or request a free consult call with a member of our clinical team
Whether you're looking for a specific type of service, or are unsure where to start, we're here to help. We recommend reviewing our different types of therapy services and specialized approaches offered by our providers. Please note that while we see clients to address a variety of issues, our therapists are all trained in and passionate about taking a trauma-focused, holistic approach to the healing process.
01
Browse our Providers and Services
Visit our Meet the Team page to familiarize yourself with our providers and administrative staff. Use the page's filter to refine your search by therapist availability, insurance, specialization, and office location. If the therapist you want to see isn't accepting clients, or if you find that individual therapy isn't feasible at this time, you can explore our While You Wait page to familiarize yourself with our other service offerings.

*Our Rates & Insurance page includes information about fees and which insurances we are considered in-network and out-of-network with.
02
Connect with our Intake Team
Once you're ready to learn more, fill out our confidential Inquiry Form or visit our Client Portal to schedule a free Consult Call. (Please note that all consult calls are offered via phone despite the option to choose locations via the Client Portal).
While submitting your inquiry, please include any information that may be helpful for our intake team, including specific provider or service interests, what you're hoping to focus on in therapy, whether you hope to use insurance, your availability, etc. After you reach out, a member of intake team will follow up within 48-72 business hours to discuss next steps.
*Please note that while we actively keep our website as updated as possible, we cannot guarantee availability for any provider or specific time of day. We also cannot guarantee insurance coverage for any service, even if we contract with your insurance provider.
03
Find Your Match
To help you find the best fit for your therapy journey, you’ll be supported by a dedicated intake coordinator who will guide you from your initial inquiry through your first therapy session. You can think of the Intake Coordinator as your personal therapy concierge — here to help you explore your options, answer your questions, and ensure your journey starts smoothly.
We recommend that most new clients begin with a free 20-minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to learn more about you, understand what you’re looking for in therapy, and identify the clinician or service that will best support your goals.
Because of the specialized, trauma-focused nature of our work, we may also suggest a 45-minute clinical screening appointment with a member of our clinical team. While not required for everyone, we recommend this service for clients with complex trauma histories or for those who would benefit from additional support in clarifying their therapy needs. Screening appointments are always free of charge.

Your Intake Coordinator will work closely with you to recommend the best next steps, schedule your appointments, coordinate with our billing team to verify insurance coverage, and keep you informed of clinician and service availability.
04
Prepare For Your Session
Once you are matched with a therapist and your intake appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to fill out our new client paperwork. The forms often take about 15-20 minutes to complete, as they include questions that help your provider get to know you. It's our policy that all new clients complete paperwork at least 24 hours before your first appointment. Sessions cannot start until these intake forms are completed.
04
Meet With Your Provider!
Once your new client intake forms are complete, it's time to meet your new provider! If meeting in person, you can visit our Offices page to find detailed instructions to the office. Teletherapy clients will receive a link from our secure video platform prior to the start of each session. The Intake Coordinator will remain your point person until you complete your intake session. Once you begin services, you will work directly with your therapist regarding treatment planning and ongoing scheduling. At that time, you can always schedule / reschedule sessions through our Client Portal or reception service by calling 585-206-2631.
