Christopher Love is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a clinical therapist at Sustainable Wellness. Christopher completed his Master of Social Work degree from the Stony Brook University in 2021 and currently provides individual therapy to adults and young adults at the practice through a client-centered, collaborative lens.
Christopher brings a deep commitment to serving the LBGTQIA+ community, and works alongside individuals navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Christopher’s clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, PTSD, complex trauma, low self-esteem, attachment wounds, grief, and interpersonal issues. He draws from an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s unique needs, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Ego States Therapy.
At the core of Christopher’s philosophy is the belief that therapy is a partnership. Healing begins with the relationship we hold with ourselves—the foundation from which all other connections are built. Through this lens, Christopher supports clients in rediscovering their inherent worth and reclaiming the power to shape meaningful change. His style is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and an unwavering belief in each person’s capacity to heal and grow.
