Meredith Forbes

Meredith (she/her) is a Master's level clinical intern working under the supervision of Kaylene Graffitti, LCSW. Meredith earned a Bachelor's in Psychology from Nazareth College in 2021, and is currently earning a Master's of Social Work from Syracuse University. 

Meredith has previous experience working for Child Protective Services of Monroe County, where she discovered her passion for working with children and families. She is deeply committed to working with those who have lived through traumatic experiences. Meredith is dedicated to working with victims of childhood abuse, neglect, and or sexual assault. She works with young adults, teens, children, and families - in helping them work through their memories of traumatic experiences. 

Asking for help and starting therapy can be challenging for many, but Meredith is here to provide whatever support is needed. Meredith works to uplift her clients by meeting them where they are at, and treating them with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Her motivation and drive is focused on not just seeing her clients feel better, but in enabling them to achieve their life goals and overall wellbeing.

In her free time, Meredith likes to read, be with her cat, explore new places, and is currently working on writing/publishing a book.
