About this Group

About.

Sexual violence is unfortunately prevalent in our society. This group is offered to women who have experienced intimate relationship violence, sexual abuse, rape, or sexual assault. The group is held virtually and provides education on sexual violence as well as emotional support from others who have had similar experiences. This support group offers a safe space for women to learn, to connect with others, and to feel less alone in their journey towards healing from sexual violence.


Participants can expect to:

  • Experience a virtual space that promotes emotional safety

  • Receive psychoeducation on sexual violence

  • Connect how their past experiences have impacted their present-day

  • Learn skills related to coping with the day-to-day after experiencing sexual violence

  • Gain emotional support from others who "get it" and have had similar experiences


Meeting Time.

This group runs for 8 weeks. Day and time TBD!


Location.

This group runs virtually through a secure video platform.


Rates.

The cost of this group is $320 for 8 weeks. Payments are typically made in weekly installments of $40/session. Payment is due regardless of group attendance.


Participants.

This group is for adult women (18+ years.) Participants must be connected with an individual therapist to join. If you’re interested in participating in the group and don’t have a therapist, please contact us and we will do our best to connect you with a clinician at our practice!

Your Instructors

Kaylene Graffitti, LCSW

Kaylene is passionate about helping clients who have experienced traumatic events. She has experience working with clients of all ages who have experienced intimate partner violence, family violence, sexual assault, abuse as a child, and other complex traumas. Kaylene takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach while also blending Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), CBT techniques, systems theory, psychoeducation, and of course, trauma-informed care.
