A Death Cafe is a social event where people gather to discuss death, dying, and related topics in a safe, open, and relaxed environment. The concept aims to increase awareness of death and help people make the most of their finite lives. Goals of the Death Cafe include:
Increasing Awareness: By talking about death, people can reduce the fear and taboo associated with it, leading to a greater appreciation of life.
Normalize Conversations: Encourages open discussions about end-of-life issues, making it easier for people to express their wishes and make plans.
Support Personal Reflection: Provides an opportunity for individuals to reflect on their own lives and mortality, which can lead to personal growth and greater well-being.
Provide Resources (Workshops, referral to counseling and grief support).

Participants.
This group is for adults (age 18+). There are various pricing options available, and no one will be turned away for financial reasons.

Natasha Dezonie, LMSW
Natasha is a holistic psychotherapist and end-of-life doula (a non-medical person trained to provide individuals and families with emotional, spiritual and physical support through all phases of loss).
